i designed this party invitation and graduation announcement recently. mom supplied the text and picture. this concept would work for any type of event or party:

snyder anniversary

a simple summery invitation with a vellum overlay, created for my friend kelly to honor her parent's 40th anniversary. kelly wanted something summery, with lime green and a "peachy pink." i like the overlay because we didn't have to create a design on top of the actual wedding photo, and it allows the photo to be seen in it's original form.
